1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Elmistr mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading, registering, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2 Who Can Use Elmistr
Teachers: Any private tutor or educator who creates an account to manage students, groups, and sessions.
Parents / Guardians: Any parent or guardian who registers to view their child's session reports.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Student profiles are managed by teachers or parents — students do not register directly.
By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to enter any student data you submit.
3 Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately at support@elmistr.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not share your account credentials with others or allow anyone else to access the App using your account.
4 App Features & Scope
Elmistr provides tools for:
Managing student profiles, grade levels, and group assignments.
Sending real-time session reports and push notifications to parents.
Managing subscriptions and student limits based on the teacher's plan.
Enrollment and join requests between teachers and parents.
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the App or email.
5 Student Data & Privacy
Teachers who enter student information are responsible for obtaining any required consents from parents or guardians before submitting personal data.
You agree to use student data only for educational management purposes and not to misuse, share, or disclose it to unauthorized parties.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You must not upload sensitive personal data (e.g., health records, government IDs) beyond what is necessary for the App's educational purpose.
6 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or discriminatory purpose.
Upload false, misleading, or defamatory information about students or teachers.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure.
Use automated tools to access the App without our written permission.
Violate the privacy or rights of any student, parent, or teacher.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7 Subscriptions & Payments
Elmistr offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with higher student limits and additional features.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually as selected). Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.
Payments are processed through our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
8 Intellectual Property
The Elmistr name, logo, app design, software, and content are owned by Hamdy Saad and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended educational management purpose.
You retain ownership of the data you enter. By using the App, you grant us the right to process that data solely to provide the service.
9 Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Session reports and analytics are generated from data entered by teachers and do not constitute official academic records.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events outside our control.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Elmistr and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, including loss of data or revenue. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11 Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting support@elmistr.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violations.
Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and data obligations survive termination.
12 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Egypt.
